These recalls include multiple air bag and seat-belt software and inflator issues, brake pedal pivot nut remedies, power steering hose clamp inspections, and fuel system checks tied to potential leaks or fire risk. All remedies are performed free of charge by manufacturer-authorized dealers like Coggin Chevrolet at the Avenues; to confirm your vehicle's specific recall status, use your VIN or contact us to schedule service.

You can check your VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring your truck to Coggin Chevrolet at the Avenues and we will check for free. Does an open recall affect my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively affect trade-in and resale value because some buyers and dealers check NHTSA recall status before purchase. Coggin Chevrolet at the Avenues will complete recalls for free and provide documentation that protects your vehicle value when you pursue a trade or private sale—start with our online trade-in appraisal. Addressing recalls promptly preserves safety, resale value, and can prevent complications with insurance claims or state inspections.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD recall?
Generally, safety recalls do not automatically cause a failed state inspection, but some recall defects (for example, seat belts, steering, or brakes) can result in inspection failures if they affect required safety systems. Because several recalls for this vehicle affect airbags, seat belts, steering, and brakes, it is prudent to resolve open recalls before inspection. Contact Coggin Chevrolet at the Avenues to verify open recalls and schedule service so your truck is inspected and repaired using OEM parts.
